Working with Arty has been a great experience. He takes my songs from basic chords with lyrics and transforms them into fantastic and exciting productions time and time again. As a songwriter with little technical expertise it's great to be able to rely on Arty to take care of that whole production for me. He even plays some of the instruments on my demos himself. he's unbelievable on the guitar! Not to mention how friendly and pleasent he is to work with. Keren Stefansky

"I started working at Skyelab at 15 on my first demo to be recorded in New York City. Little did I know, in entering the building, I would be making life long friends! I worked side by side with Arty Skye dozens of times on my own original songs, as well as demoing songs for other songwriters. Arty's productions of my original works were phenominal.I spent many long hours recording in the professional, yet comfortable "home-like" setting of Skyelab eating countless containers of Chinese Take out with Arty and the crew. I learned so much about the music business, and about working in a recording studio from working with Arty...it's really where I got my start as well as a great education in studio work and the recording business!"

I had a blast working with Skylab! The song came out hot, and I've been getting a lot of great feed back from the production. Arty Skye brought ideas to the music it didn't have going into the process, but also made sure I stayed true to material. I am looking forward to working with them again, and I would recommend them to anyone.

"Working with Skyelab was certainly a challenging and satisfying experience. I am from Mexico City and came to NYC expressely to work with Arty. His precise directions at the recording studio as well as his musical intuition made possible for us to record a totally professional song including background vocals in record time! His dedication to the work we were did together as well as his career counseling are just what I needed to have a solid basis to continue my musical project going forward. Thank you Skyelab for helping me create an amazingly sounding song!"

"Soon after having several of my songs produced by Arty Skye at SkyeLab, I bagged some awesome awards, and most recently landed in the "Suggested Artist" category, in the VH1 sponsored "Song of the Year" contest. This I owe all to SkyeLab, and highly recommend their superior services to musicians everywhere".

Arty,
Just wanted to thank you for all of your hard work on the CD. I had to of course get away from it for a while, then listen to it again. It just sounds killer. You nailed it - just exactly what I wanted it to sound like and it gives me loads of ideas as to how to market it and the image(s) I want to use for its release. You really pulled out the best of the best in these songs, and I am deeply grateful.
Thanks again,
Seth Duncan

What They Say...

Songwriter: Akinori Nakamura
"I'm very excited that one of my song was recorded by a well funded artist. I believe my songs wouldn't been accepted by music industry people
without your supports. I'd been sending out my songs to the music
industry over the years, but none of them paid attention to my music
until I met you. I was one of the guy who believes the myth that if the
song was great, production doesn't matter. Now I have to admit I was
wrong. the production really does matter. You proved it to me and this
is the proof! My only regret is that I should have known you earlier. And I'd like to say thank you for providing me excellent services over
the last months. I'm sure that you are the best producer I've ever
worked with. And you have one of the most talented" ...CONTINUED...

10 Pitfalls You Must Avoid When Doing Your Music Demo!
Music Demos are NOT
like McDonalds hamburgers. They are not massed produced and they are
certainly not all alike. While cost is a concern when doing a music
demo, you must realize that a bad music demo is worse than no demo at all. A
bad music demo will close doors for you that you may never be able to open
again. Like anything in life, garbage is cheap and you pay extra for
superior quality. Do you want to be viewed like a cheap Hyundai or a
Top of the line Mercedes Benz? For an experienced music professional,
you may end up paying more than with a bargain basement dirt cheap
producer. But if you're really serious about pursuing a record deal
you must present yourself in a professional light if you have any hopes
of being signed.
