Inspired by a native Bostonian and a graduate of Boston University now residing in California – The Mazzzzzz wrote this song straight out of his own life experiences.

Like the Red Sox, he has seen his share of tragedy as well as triumph. At the age of 7 Mazzzzzz’s father passed away shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. It was a time when it felt like all hope was gone and life had no meaning.  But the Red Sox were always there to take his mind off the ‘real world’. Fenway Park was a place to escape for a few hours at a time, a place to cheer, a place to be a kid.
