Yung Gee da General grew up listening to artists such as NAS, Biggie, Tupac, and Scarface. Their ability to tell stories through their music impacted him and steered him towards his passion for music.

Despite having been through many difficult life obstacles, Gee feels that success would be a lot less enjoyable without the struggle. He began making a name for himself in the Lower East Side participating in street rap battles and has since performed at various showcases in NYC and Pennsylvania.

Continuously focused on his writing and perfecting his craft and musical abilities, Gee is staying true to his “now or never” motto and is currently working with Moment-of-Truth Production.
