Don Guerrazzi has been present in the music industry for several years. He began in high school, playing the acoustic club scene with friends around the Monmouth County and Mercer County areas in New Jersey. Though mostly cover songs, Don occasionally threw out a few originals. He has been writing his own compositions since he began playing the piano in elementary school. His original songs always received a very positive response.
After high school Don attended St. Bonaventure University where he joined with some very talented musicians to form The Greater Kudu, a classic rock cover band. Don continued songwriting and by the end of his time at SBU, he had an extensive collection of original music which his family and friends referred to as “really something special”.
From St. Bonaventure University, Don was accepted directly into the MBA program at Lehigh University, which is much closer to his hometown. He was able to restore some contacts in the music industry he had in New Jersey and push his career even further. After collaborating with Antonella Barba on an acoustic song for her demo CD, Don was introduced to producer Nick Ditri of Arkatone Music Group. Another contact of Don’s led him to Arty Skye, owner of SkyeLab Music Group in New York. Arty and Nick helped Don to produce his first full length album, “I Got Your Back.” The CD was released on April 11, 2010 at a CD release concert at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. Both, Arty Skye and Nick Ditri made guest appearances on the guitar and piano, respectively.
Don is currently finishing up his last semester of graduate school and plans to hit the music scene full time… after finals are over, of course.
